C-09 is one of our most impactful UV responsive fluorescent pigments, designed to illuminate when color is needed most. Relatively invisible in normal daylight, it produces a bright, vibrant blue hue when exposed to UV or ‘black’ light. This makes it popular for security and tracing applications, such as counterfeit protection, product identification and process automation.
A dyed/pigmented thermoplastic sulphonamide-melamine-paraformaldehyde resin, this ultraviolet pigment is designed for water and non-polar solvent-based formulations. As a UV blue tracer it excels when used in aqueous paper coating, paints and textile printing inks.
