RBU ink bases are a unique formaldehyde-free, fluorescent polymer specifically formulated for use in energy curable systems. They produce stunningly bright, high gloss fluorescent inks with excellent printing characteristics. This makes them perfect for use in flexographic and lithographic and UV inks and EB applications.
A thermoplastic sulphonamide-melamine paraformaldehyde carrier, dispersed in an alkyd resin, RBAG is a mineral oil-free, daylight and UV responsive fluorescent ink base. It’s ideal for conventional offset ultraviolet inks. Formulation with a UV curing system is also possible, depending on the specific finished ink system used.
